Ray Charles
24x48 Acrylic on plywood.
Another in a series of black and white paint only originals. This image is from one of Ray's many album covers, so the image is not entirely original.
Charlie Parker/Blues Sax Player
24x28 Acrylic on 1/2 inch plywood
One of the great blues/jazz sax players. I painted the wood solid black and used only white acrylic paint for the highlights....this is becoming on of my favorite style of paintings lately......
Song of Solomon
11x14 Acrylic on stretched canvas
Another in a series of paintings inspired by our church pastor. We did a 2 month long series discussing what the Bible says about relationships, love and sex. This painting was the result of several sketches completed during the examination of the book of Solomon.
Melted Paino

Jazz Trio

Once again, painting one of my favorite subjects. I did the initial sketch for this piece during a Lyle Lovette concert in Atlanta.
